Aura flicked her ears nervously, she thought she heard bracken rustle. She smelled many feline scents by the creek. All the sudden a rough voice yelled "Attack!".....

Mintkit stalked out of camp, "Ill do it, ill prove to the others that im not just a kit" he thought Leafkit had been really annoying after he had been the only one to take a step outside of camp. He would go beyond that, he would go to the creek. He could see the water, he just had to touch it, a bit farther and ...
Crash, a branch fell behind him, sending him plummeting into the water. He struggled, and grasped onto a rock in the middle of the creek, he wailed helplessly. Hearing his cries, a fox appeared on the near bank, waiting for the kit to make a wrong move off the rock and become easy prey.
